Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Sanctuary Stash collects, why it is used, and how public stash sharing works during beta.

Effective April 29, 2026

Who We Are

Sanctuary Stash is an unofficial stash, item-pricing, and trade-preparation tool for Diablo II: Resurrected and Reign of the Warlock players. Sanctuary Stash is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Blizzard Entertainment.

This beta policy is written for the current product. We may update it as the app adds payments, mobile releases, broader public browsing, or new integrations.

Information We Collect

  • Account and authentication data, such as your user ID, public username, OAuth provider identifiers, and the email address returned by Discord or Google for sign-in, beta access, and account security.
  • Profile and stash data, including your profiles, item names, affixes, rolls, quantities, notes, asking prices, listing links, item status, public/private choices, and price-display preferences.
  • Image and OCR data when you use scan or screenshot features. Scan images are processed to extract item details and check image safety. Item screenshots you choose to attach are stored privately and are only shown when access rules allow it.
  • Connected-account data for integrations you enable, such as Discord notification details and optional Battle.net profile metadata.
  • Usage, security, and operational data, including export requests, notification delivery records, scan counts, hashed IP rate-limit events, error logs, and beta/waitlist records.

How We Use Information

  • Run the app, authenticate beta users, and keep account access limited to invited testers while the beta is closed.
  • Save and display your stash, profiles, item details, posting preferences, market watches, and public sharing settings.
  • Generate item scans, price estimates, pricing confidence labels, and correction signals that improve future item recognition.
  • Send notifications you enable, such as Discord test messages, price-watch alerts, quota warnings, and stale-listing reminders.
  • Prevent abuse, enforce OCR quotas and rate limits, investigate bugs, protect the service, and comply with legal or security obligations.

Public Sharing

Your public identity in Sanctuary Stash is based on your username, not your email address. Public stash links only show data that passes the app visibility gates.

A profile must be public and an item must also be marked public before the item can appear on public stash pages or public item pages. Optional BattleTag text is shown only when you enable that visibility setting.

Public pages can be viewed by anyone with the link and may be copied or indexed by third parties outside our control. Do not put private notes, real names, addresses, payment details, or other sensitive information in item names, notes, listings, or public-facing fields.

Service Providers

Sanctuary Stash uses third-party infrastructure and integrations to operate the beta. These may include hosting, database/auth, analytics, OCR/model processing, market-data processing, notifications, OAuth sign-in, and payment providers when paid tiers are enabled.

These providers process information only as needed for the features they support. For example, OCR images are sent to the model provider for scan and safety review, and Discord notification details are used to deliver messages you request.

Selling Data

Sanctuary Stash does not sell your personal information during beta and does not use third-party ad networks. If that changes, the policy will be updated before the change is applied.

Retention, Export, and Deletion

Settings includes export tools for stash data where available. During beta, deletion or correction requests can be made through the beta support channel or invite channel you used to join.

We keep information as long as needed to operate the app, protect accounts, maintain audit trails, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and improve the scanner and pricing systems. Some security, billing, or abuse-prevention records may be retained after account deletion where necessary.

Children

Sanctuary Stash is not intended for children under 13. Do not use the service or submit personal information if you are under 13.

Changes And Contact

We may update this policy as the beta changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, when practical, by notifying active beta users.

Until a dedicated legal inbox is published, contact the beta admin through the invite, support, or community channel where you received beta access.
